Does the addon send anything anywhere?

No. It reads the game and its own data packs. The match history, matchups and character table are stored in your WoW folder and never leave it. Nothing is uploaded and no account is needed.

How fresh are the ratings?

The data packs are rebuilt twice a day from the site's ladder sync. For the live ladder, the activity feed and the cutoffs as they move, use the site.

Why do I see nothing on tooltips?

The ratings and builds are separate data packs in your addon list. If one is switched off, the addon says so on login; type /wtr enable to switch it back on, then reload the interface.

What does applying a build do to my talents?

It creates or updates a loadout named WoW Tracker PvP and switches to it. Your other loadouts are never overwritten without asking, and nothing can be applied in combat.

Which matches are recorded?

Rated arena, Solo Shuffle, rated battlegrounds and Battleground Blitz. Skirmishes and unrated battlegrounds are not. Recording can be switched off per bracket, and the history can be deleted from the settings.

What it does

Ratings on every tooltip

Hover a player and the addon shows their current 2v2, 3v3, RBG, Solo Shuffle and Blitz ratings, their best ratings from past seasons, and the titles behind them: Gladiator, Legend, Elite and Rank 1. It works on character tooltips, in the Group Finder, in the friends list, on Battle.net friends and in the guild roster.

Match history with both teams

Every rated arena, Solo Shuffle, rated battleground and Blitz you finish is recorded: date, map, length, result, your rating and how it moved, both MMRs and the specs on both sides, with every player's kills, damage and healing on hover. Search a name to find every match you played with or against someone. The history stays on your computer and never leaves it.

Matchups

Your record against every enemy composition in arena and against every enemy spec in Solo Shuffle, hardest first, over all time, 30 days or 7 days. Built from your own matches, so it is your record, not a statistic.

Every character in one table

Ratings in all five brackets, honor and conquest against this week's cap, gold and PvP items in the bags, for every character you have logged in on. When honor hits the cap the addon says so, and it waits until you are out of the arena to say it.

Live overlay

Your recent matches in a small bar over the world: result, rating change and both lineups. Drag it anywhere, switch brackets with a click, hide it in combat.

Builds from the top of the ladder

Recommended talents, PvP talents and gear for your spec and bracket, computed from the highest-rated players on wow-tracker.com. Copy the talent code or apply the build in one click as its own loadout; your own loadouts are never overwritten without asking.

Yours to tune

Every surface can be switched on or off, tooltips can be compact or detailed, brackets can be hidden, and the minimap button, the overlay and the recording each have their own switch.

Install

1Get it from CurseForge, through the app or as a zip into your AddOns folder.
2Log in. Ratings appear on tooltips at once; the first rated match you finish starts the history.
3Type /wtr to open the window, or click the minimap button.

Commands

/wtr: opens the addon window

/wtr settings: opens the settings
/wtr enable: switches the data packs back on if they were disabled in the addon list

Where the data comes from

The ratings and builds ship inside the addon as data packs for EU and US, rebuilt from the site twice a day, so nothing is fetched while you play. The match history and matchups are recorded by the addon itself and stored only on your computer.
