How this tier list works
The groups reflect how far representation sits above or below the segment average. They do not rank direct win rate, ease of play or every matchup.
Tiers are statistical groups based on representation relative to the segment average. S tier is at least one standard deviation above that average, followed by A, B and C. The labels describe the current sample, not a permanent ranking.
Why this list combines EU and US
The game is identical in both regions, so nothing can be stronger in one of them. Splitting the sample would only make each half thinner, while the pooled ladder gives every specialization enough players to compare. The regional meta pages still show either region on its own.
Why the tier list uses high-rated players
The tier list looks at the upper rating segment instead of every ladder entry. This keeps broad low-rating popularity from masking which specializations appear most often near the top of the current bracket.
How to interpret the PvP tier list
Use the list to spot the most visible high-rated specializations, then check the table for player counts, rating segments and win rates. Representation can reflect strength, popularity, composition fit or the preferences of a small high-rated population.

- What does S tier mean on this PvP tier list?
- S tier means a specialization's representation is far above the average in the selected high-rating segment. It is a data grouping, not a universal verdict on the spec.
- Is the tier list different in EU and US?
- The specializations near the top are the same, because the game is identical in both regions. What differs is how many people play each one. This page pools both ladders; the regional meta pages show either one separately.
- Why does each bracket have its own tier list?
- Brackets reward different things. A specialization that dominates Solo Shuffle can be far less common in 3v3, where team composition decides much more. Each tab is computed from that bracket's own ladder.
- Does high representation mean a spec is the strongest?
- No. Representation shows how often a specialization appears in the tracked sample. It is a useful meta signal, but it does not prove the highest win rate or the best result in every matchup.
