Why log in with Battle.net
- Your alt list stops being a guess. Without a login we match characters by how they play, which is usually right and sometimes misses one.
- The overlay follows your account instead of this browser. Right now it is kept in this browser only — clear your site data or switch machines and you can no longer edit it, though the link keeps working.
We ask Battle.net for your BattleTag and your character list, and read nothing else. The login token is thrown away immediately after.
