Who should stay on Check PvP

If you play on Korea or Taiwan, find partners through the LFG tool, run Overlord or play Classic, stay on check-pvp.fr: it has all of those and we have none of them.

Open WoW Tracker when the question is bigger than one lookup: your percentile in any bracket, four characters compared slot by slot, the full build of every spec, a tier list for every bracket, and an addon that puts ratings on every tooltip.

Check PvP vs WoW Tracker: common questions

Is WoW Tracker free?
Yes. Every page, the addon, the overlay and every privacy switch, with no ads and no subscription. Check PvP's pages are free with ads; its paid Patreon tiers remove the ads and unlock the longer activity windows and the top rating floors on the builds.
What does Check PvP have that WoW Tracker does not?
Korea and Taiwan, the LFG tool, the Overlord open world campaign, a Classic sister site, ten interface languages, and view counters and likes on profiles.
What does WoW Tracker have that Check PvP does not?
As far as we could find on check-pvp.fr: character comparison, a rating distribution with a percentile lookup, a tier list, multiclassers, a Rank 1 title tracker, a Transmog tab and a 3D view on profiles, a stream overlay for OBS, a guide library, and an addon that shows ratings on tooltips and keeps a match history.
Do both sites show the same ratings?
Yes. Both show Blizzard's official ratings, so a character's rating is the same on either site. The difference is what each site builds around them: builds, comparison, statistics, the addon, and what it costs.
Which addon should I install?
They do different jobs. Check-PvP Assistant copies a player's Name-Realm so you can look them up on check-pvp.fr. The WoW Tracker addon puts ratings and titles on the tooltip itself, keeps a match history with both teams, tracks honor and conquest against the cap and applies the site's builds in one click. You can run both.
Do I need an account?
No. Every page on this site works without one. A Battle.net login only adds your own characters in one place, favourites, your view history and the privacy switches.
Is WoW Tracker a Check PvP alternative?
If you searched for checkpvp to look up a character on EU or US, the search at the top of this page does that, with no account. For Korea, Taiwan, the LFG tool, Overlord or Classic you still want check-pvp.fr.
