WoW PvP cutoffs: official values and estimates
This page keeps official Blizzard title cutoffs and WoW Tracker estimates in one place. Select a source to compare the available values for the current season and region.
Official Blizzard cutoffs
Official values reproduce the rating thresholds Blizzard publishes for the relevant title. They are the reference when Blizzard has released them, but availability and the way they are split can differ by bracket.
How the estimated cutoff works
When an official threshold is unavailable, the estimate uses the current ranked ladder. Solo Shuffle and Blitz estimates are calculated per specialization. Estimates can move after every new ladder update and do not guarantee a title.
Players, characters and alts
Titles are awarded to players, not to every character above a rating. The estimate is designed to avoid treating several top characters from one player as separate title spots. Eligible character counts remain visible because they can be higher than the number of players.
WoW PvP cutoffs FAQ
- Are official cutoffs taken from Blizzard?
- Yes. Official rows use Blizzard-published rating thresholds. WoW Tracker does not replace those values with its own calculation.
- Does an estimated cutoff guarantee a title?
- No. It is a current-ladder estimate that can change as ratings move and Blizzard publishes new data. Only Blizzard awards the title.
- Why are eligible characters and title spots different?
- One player can have several characters above the same cutoff. Title spots estimate unique players, while eligible characters count every qualifying character.
