BlizzCon 2026 WoW Drops: Rewards, Times and How to Claim

What you get for watching BlizzCon 2026

Blizzard is running Drops for World of Warcraft across BlizzCon 2026. Four rewards unlock on cumulative watch time, and the whole set costs twelve hours of a stream you were probably going to have open anyway.

The hours are cumulative rather than continuous, and each tier includes the ones below it, so twelve hours in total collects all four.

The two windows are not the same length

This is the part worth reading twice, because the platform you pick decides whether twelve hours is comfortable or nearly impossible.

Twitch gives you two weeks to accumulate twelve hours, which is undemanding. YouTube gives you a day and a half of wall clock time to accumulate the same twelve hours, and the channel is not broadcasting for every minute of it. If you want the mount and the toy, Twitch is the practical route, and YouTube is best treated as a convenience for the show itself rather than as a way to finish the ladder.

The mount at eight hours

The reward most people are actually watching for is the Fluffy Comfy Flying Quilt, a flying quilt that unlocks at the eight hour mark. The model below is the mount as it appears in game, so you can decide whether it is worth the other six hours before you start.

Set the links up before the first stream

Drops only count for an account that is already connected when you watch. Doing it during the show costs you the hours you have already spent.

Twitch. Connect your Twitch account to Battle.net at account.battle.net/connections. Rewards are not automatic: you claim them in the channel or from the Drops Inventory menu.

YouTube. Connect through YouTube's Connected Apps page. Here delivery is automatic as long as the accounts were linked while you were watching.

Two rules cause most of the lost rewards. A Twitch drop that you claim without a linked Battle.net account expires after seven days, so claiming is not the same as receiving. And relinking Twitch triggers a seven day cooldown before you can attach a different account, which means an account swap decided during BlizzCon week will not be finished during BlizzCon week.

Where the rewards land

Rewards go to the first Battle.net region you log into after they are granted, and delivery can take up to 24 hours. If you play across regions, log into the one you actually want the mount on before opening the other.

Eligibility covers North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand on both platforms. Korea is eligible through YouTube only.

If you are going to BlizzCon in person

Attendees receive the same rewards without watching a stream, by linking a BlizzCon Pass to a Battle.net account no later than 18 September 2026. Those rewards are delivered during the week of 21 September, so they arrive later than the Twitch ones rather than sooner.

What the 200 Tender is actually worth

The currency tier is the one that pays for itself immediately. A normal month gives 1,000 Trader's Tender: 500 automatically from the Collector's Cache and up to 500 from the Traveler's Log. Two hours of BlizzCon adds 200 on top of that, a fifth of a month's income, and it lands during a month whose shop is unusually worth spending in.

September's Trading Post is running a BlizzCon outlet with hundreds of returning items, including previous monthly rewards that were never purchasable before. The full list is in the guide to September's Trading Post, but the short version is that the extra 200 is the difference between affording one of those and not.

Common mistakes

Linking accounts after you start watching. Hours only count once the connection exists.

Claiming on Twitch and stopping there. An unclaimed reward on an unlinked account is gone in seven days.

Planning the full twelve hours on YouTube. The window is about 33 hours long and the channel is not live for all of it.

Leaving a region swap until afterwards. The reward follows the first region you log into once it is granted.

Assuming the pass linking deadline is the same as the viewing deadline. Passes must be linked by 18 September, nine days before Twitch drops close.

A checklist for the week

1. Link Twitch to Battle.net now, and YouTube too if you plan to watch there.
2. Note that Twitch counts until 27 September and YouTube only until 13 September.
3. Watch two hours first for the Tender, which is the reward with a deadline attached to it in the shop.
4. Claim Twitch drops as they appear rather than at the end.
5. Log into the region you want the mount on before logging into any other.
6. If you hold a BlizzCon Pass, link it before 18 September.
