When BlizzCon 2026 runs and how to watch

BlizzCon 2026 runs on Saturday September 12 and Sunday September 13 at the Anaheim Convention Center, and Blizzard has published the full World of Warcraft running order for both days. The broadcast is free to watch on the official Warcraft channel on Twitch, the official World of Warcraft channel on YouTube, and on BlizzCon.com.

Day one front-loads the announcements: the Opening Ceremony, both What's Next segments, the Developers x Creators showcase, and the Mythic Dungeon International Grand Finals running alongside them. Day two is the design day, and it is where every arena match sits: the deep dives, the Housing and World Building panels, and the Arena World Championship Grand Finals, closing with the trophy ceremony.

All times here are Pacific Daylight Time, which is how Blizzard publishes the schedule. BST is eight hours ahead and CEST is nine, so a 10:30 a.m. PDT segment opens at 6:30 p.m. in London and 7:30 p.m. in Berlin, and anything from 4:00 p.m. PDT onward falls after midnight in Europe.

Saturday September 12: the World of Warcraft schedule

The two What's Next segments both sit before the Developers x Creators showcase, so a viewer with only a couple of hours to spend gets the most from the middle of the day. The MDI runs across the same afternoon.

Time (PDT)Segment
10:30 a.m.Opening Ceremony
12:00 p.m.World of Warcraft: What's Next
12:45 p.m.MDI 2026 Grand Finals: Dignitas vs Big Lucky
2:00 p.m.Building Cutscenes in World of Warcraft
2:00 p.m.MDI 2026 Grand Finals: Liquid vs Mandatory
2:45 p.m.World of Warcraft: What's Next II
3:30 p.m.World of Warcraft Developers x Creators Showcase
4:30 p.m.Classic Cup: Warcraft III Legacy Match
4:45 p.m.BlizzCon Community Night
5:30 p.m.MDI 2026 Grand Finals: Championship Match
5:45 p.m.Classic Cup: Warcraft III Entertainment Match

The four Mythic Dungeon International teams, the best-of-three and best-of-five formats and the Season 2 dungeon pool they play on are set out in the MDI 2026 Grand Finals bracket and schedule.

Sunday September 13: the World of Warcraft schedule

Sunday alternates a panel with an arena match for most of the day, so the two do not overlap heavily. The Deep Dive that opens the day is the longest-form World of Warcraft segment of the weekend.

Time (PDT)Segment
10:00 a.m.World of Warcraft: Deep Dive
10:45 a.m.World of Warcraft Housing: Crafting Coziness and Creative Freedom
11:00 a.m.AWC 2026 Grand Finals: F Tier vs Guild Bean
11:45 a.m.World Building in World of Warcraft
12:00 p.m.AWC 2026 Grand Finals: Streamerzonegg vs One Lun Travel
1:15 p.m.World of Warcraft: Art Design
2:00 p.m.AWC 2026 Grand Finals: Echo vs TBD
2:15 p.m.World of Warcraft: Design Deep Dive
3:00 p.m.AWC 2026 Grand Finals: Gators Back vs TBD
4:15 p.m.World of Warcraft Hardcore: What's Next
5:00 p.m.AWC 2026 Grand Finals: Championship Match
5:20 p.m.Closing Remarks
6:00 p.m.Live performance (in-room experience only)
6:30 p.m.Trophy Ceremony

Two of Sunday's arena slots are still listed against an opponent to be determined, because Echo and Gators Back are seeded into the second round and their opponents come out of the two morning matches.

Where PvP sits across the two days

Every arena match at BlizzCon 2026 is on Sunday. Six teams contest the AWC Grand Finals in a single elimination bracket, Echo and Gators Back have byes into the second round, and the championship match starts at 5:00 p.m. PDT, which is 1:00 a.m. BST on September 14. The full bracket, the qualifying route each team took and the prize split are in the AWC 2026 Grand Finals bracket and schedule.

No PvP-specific panel appears in the running order, so the two segments to watch for season, reward or tuning direction are World of Warcraft: What's Next at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday and the Deep Dive at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Both are announcement slots rather than gameplay showcases.

If the reason you are watching the arena is to work out what to queue on Monday, the ladder is the other half of the picture. A championship bracket is six teams playing a prepared best-of series, and the compositions that win it are not automatically the ones carrying rating for everyone else. The live tier list is what the current season is actually playing.

What watching earns you

Watching the broadcast on a linked account earns in-game rewards at four cumulative watch-time thresholds, and eligibility differs between the Twitch and YouTube windows.

Twelve hours is more than a single day of programming, so the 12-hour reward needs viewing across both days or across the longer Twitch window. Account linking, the exact reward windows and which platform covers which dates are set out in the BlizzCon 2026 WoW Drops guide.

What to do before Saturday

Link your Battle.net account to Twitch or YouTube before the Opening Ceremony rather than during it, since watch time only counts once the link is live. If you are chasing the 12-hour reward, start on Saturday morning.

For anything you want to have finished before the weekend takes over, the Winds of Mysterious Fortune event is running now, and the Midnight 12.1.5 content update overview covers what the What's Next segments will be building on. Rated players heading into the last week before the finals can check where the season currently stands on the EU and US cutoff pages.

FAQ

When does BlizzCon 2026 start?

BlizzCon 2026 opens on Saturday September 12 with the Opening Ceremony at 10:30 a.m. PDT, which is 6:30 p.m. BST and 7:30 p.m. CEST. The second day begins on Sunday September 13 at 10:00 a.m. PDT with the World of Warcraft Deep Dive.

Where can I watch World of Warcraft at BlizzCon 2026?

The broadcast is free on the official Warcraft channel on Twitch, the official World of Warcraft channel on YouTube, and on BlizzCon.com. One segment, the live performance at 6:00 p.m. PDT on Sunday, is an in-room experience only and is not part of the stream.

What time is the AWC Grand Finals championship match?

The Arena World Championship championship match starts at 5:00 p.m. PDT on Sunday September 13, which is 1:00 a.m. BST and 2:00 a.m. CEST on September 14. The three matches before it run from 11:00 a.m. PDT.

What time is the MDI Grand Finals championship match?

The Mythic Dungeon International championship match starts at 5:30 p.m. PDT on Saturday September 12, after the two opening matches at 12:45 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. PDT.

Is there a PvP panel at BlizzCon 2026?

The running order names no PvP-specific panel. Season, reward and tuning direction would come out of World of Warcraft: What's Next at 12:00 p.m. PDT on Saturday or the Deep Dive at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Sunday, so those are the two slots to watch.

How long do I have to watch to get all the BlizzCon rewards?

Twelve cumulative hours unlocks all four rewards, with the first at two hours, the second at four and the third at eight. Twelve hours is longer than a single day of programming, so it needs viewing spread across both days or across the longer Twitch reward window.
