What Bloody Tokens are, and what they buy

Bloody Tokens are the currency of War Mode, earned by fighting other players out in the open world rather than in an instanced battleground. They buy the Warmonger gear set, which sits at item level 259 in the world and scales up to 331 inside rated PvP, level with the Honor tier. There is no cap on how many you can hold, so you can bank a large pile and spend it in one trip. For a player who lives in the open world, Bloody Tokens are the fastest gear track that never asks you to queue.

Every source of Bloody Tokens

Turning War Mode on is the price of entry: it needs level 20 and grants the Enlisted buff, which also switches on your PvP talents and adds 10% to world quest rewards. From there, Tokens come from three sources, plus a bounty that boosts your kills:

Kills also build the Assassin bounty: a ten-kill streak marks you as an Assassin and grants 15% more damage and healing until you die, which turns a good streak into a snowball. The per-kill number looks small, but a busy shard on a bonus night adds up quickly.

The fastest way to farm them

The single biggest payout is a Sparks of War quest. Each one asks you to gather 100 Sparks of War in a War Mode zone and hands back 1,000 Bloody Tokens, and seven of these quests exist across the map. Working through the ones available to you is worth far more than grinding kills one at a time. The Spark in the Night achievement asks for five of the seven, so it doubles as a checklist for the highest-value runs.

War Supply Crates are the next tier down: at 50 Tokens each, plus the Honor, Conquest and Sparks in the same open, they are worth grabbing on sight, and our War Supply Crate farming guide covers where they spawn. Kills fill the gaps between objectives, and the Assassin bounty makes holding a contested farming spot pay for itself. What to spend Bloody Tokens on

The Warmonger set is sold by two quartermasters who share one stock list, so use whichever is closer: Knight-Lord Bloodvalor in Silvermoon City and Voidknight Vivi at Masters' Perch. Prices follow the same per-slot ladder as Honor and Conquest gear: 875 for head, chest and legs, 700 for shoulders, hands, waist and feet, and 525 for the smaller slots. A piece like the Venomous Warmonger's Breeches is the legs slot at 875 Tokens.
