Brewfest 2026: Dates, New Brewer's Sets and Brewfest Decor

Brewfest 2026 runs from September 20 to October 6

Brewfest is live. Blizzard has set this year's run at September 20 to October 6, and the grounds are reached from Silvermoon City, Valdrakken, Dornogal, Ironforge and Orgrimmar.

That is seventeen days, and it is a hard window. The event currency is the Brewfest Prize Token, which Blizzard describes as the currency "used to purchase most items at the Brewfest vendor". Almost everything on the reward list is bought with them, so the daily quests that pay them out are what actually gates a full collection run.

Two new Brewer's sets

Two transmog sets are new to Brewfest this year, four pieces each.

• Brewer's Purple Set - Brewer's Purple Beret, Brewer's Purple Shoulder Cape, Brewer's Purple Belt and Brewer's Purple Kilt.
• Brewer's Red Set - Brewer's Red Beret, Brewer's Red Shoulder Cape, Brewer's Red Belt and Brewer's Red Kilt.

In game the pieces carry the Brewer's prefix, so search your collection tab for "Brewer's" rather than for the short names used in the announcement. Both sets cover head, shoulder, waist and legs and nothing else, which means they layer onto an existing outfit rather than replacing one.

What there is to do on the grounds

Blizzard lists these Brewfest activities:

• Brewfest Banquet - "Grab your allies and hustle to get the most points possible during the Brewfest Banquet outdoor scenario."
• Barreling Down - "Keep your wits because you'll have to roll barrels through Valdrakken and deliver them to the Artisan's Market."
• Bubbling Brews - "Test your skills in Dragonriding and take to the skies above the Artisan's Market in Valdrakken to collect bubbles to fill a barrel."
• Brewfest Chowdown - "Slurp and burp your way through this eating contest to be crowned the Chowdown Champion." Four players race to finish 10 plates of sausages, and the prize is 1 Brewfest Chowdown Champion Token.
• Ceremonial Keg Tapping - "Join the Draenor-famous Frostwolf brewery Warband Ales for a special toast during Brewfest at 6 a.m. or 6 p.m. server time."
• Daily quests - "Complete special daily quests to obtain experience, gold, and Brewfest Prize Tokens to purchase holiday items."
• Sample Fine Food and Brew - "Stumble your way through the grounds while trying specialty food and brew from all over Azeroth and Draenor."

The two Valdrakken activities are the ones with a skill floor. Barreling Down is on foot and forgiving; Bubbling Brews is a Dragonriding course, so a character with poor vigor or no practice at tight turns will want a run or two before chasing a score.

Coren Direbrew is up once a day

Coren Direbrew is back as the holiday boss. Blizzard's wording is that you bring him down "once daily for a chance at unique goods like the Brewfest Barrel Bomber mount".

Read that lockout as the whole of your attempt budget. Seventeen event days means at most seventeen pulls per character, so a mount hunter who skips the first weekend has given up better than a tenth of the chances the holiday will offer. Killing him also clears Direbrewfest, one of the five achievements the Brewmaster title needs.

The Brewmaster title and the achievements behind it

The Brewmaster meta-achievement is the collector's headline target, and Blizzard states the requirement plainly: "Completing the achievements The Brewfest Diet, Brew of the Month, Direbrewfest, Does Your Wolpertinger Linger?, and Have Keg, Will Travel will reward the meta-achievement Brewmaster. Awards the title Brewmaster."

• The Brewfest Diet - "Eat 8 of the following Brewfest foods - Dried Sausage, Pickled Sausage, Savory Sausage, Spiced Onion Cheese, Spicy Smoked Sausage, Succulent Sausage, The Essential Brewfest Pretzel, and The Golden Link."
• Brew of the Month - "Join the Brew of the Month club."
• Direbrewfest - "Kill Coren Direbrew."
• Does Your Wolpertinger Linger? - "Obtain a Wolpertinger pet from the Brewfest quest line."
• Have Keg, Will Travel - "Obtain a Brewfest mount, or transform yours into one using Brewfest Hops."

Four of those five are a single afternoon's work. Brew of the Month is the one to start first, because joining the club is what opens the longer Brew of the Year track behind it.

• A Brew-FAST Mount - "Obtain an epic Brewfest mount."
• Almost Blind Luck - "Fall 65 yards without dying while wearing Synthebrew Goggles during the Brewfest Holiday."
• A Round on the House - "Donate to Bar Tab Barrels at taverns and inns in zones throughout Azeroth."
• Drunken Stupor - "Fall 65 yards without dying while completely smashed during the Brewfest Holiday."
• Down With The Dark Iron - "Defend the Brewfest camp from the Dark Iron attack and complete the quest, 'This One Time, When I Was Drunk...'"

How to spend the seventeen days

Treat the dailies as the floor and everything else as opportunistic. The quests are the only repeatable Prize Token source Blizzard names, and the two new four-piece sets plus six decor pieces are a larger shopping list than a late start will comfortably cover.

A workable order: join the Brew of the Month club on day one so its clock starts, take the Coren Direbrew kill every day you log in, clear the eating and drinking achievements early while the grounds are busy, and leave the Valdrakken scenarios for the days when you want something to do beyond a token run.

Brewfest is also not the only September window closing on collectors. The September Trading Post resets at the end of the month, and Winds of Mysterious Fortune covers the other Midnight reward event that runs on a fixed timer. Plan the three together rather than discovering on October 5 that two of them overlapped.
